Welcome! I’m Arios, a space-phoenix with a love for birds and tech, nice to meet you ^v^ I’m a 20-something tech and astronomy nerd that’s been part of the furry fandom for almost a decade now. I go by He/Them and am therian (ΘΔ) - just think of me as a firebird instead of human, thank you 🧡!

Besides being, well me, Arios is also my main sona and presence in the fandom. He’s a sentient star turned phoenix, an explorer of the cosmos, and a fiery fluffball (I’ll get to to writing down his lore someday I promise). Aside from my beloved mystical starbird I also have an tech-obsessed osprey named Sey, as well as a few other characters.

Outside of the fandom I work in IT, specifically infrastructure and automation (what some people call “DevOps”). I’m a Linux nerd, free software proponent and totally don’t have a crippling addiction to filling my home with way too many servers (send help). I code stuff here and there (usually in Rust), but I’m more interested in putting existing things together, be that hardware or software!

When I’m not busy fixing tech stuff that I broke myself, I like to do animal photography, listen to and obsess over music albums (current hyperfixation: Postrock) and play waay to many video games. DotA 2 is my main game (I’m a Phoenix spammer, naturally) but I also love strategy and builder games (Civ, Cities Skylines, Factorio) alongside the occasional action title (mainly Warframe right now). Oh, also Trackmania. So much Trackmania.
